Coming Soon: Tethered Narratives by Kamila Waleszkiewicz & Mandana Eizadi | 2–20 Dec 2026 | Rockingham Arts Centre
This exhibition presents the culmination of my year-long practice-led research into phenomenology, affect and somatic experience. Working with family photographs, domestic objects, light, shadow, lace and a handmade wooden chair, I explore how memories can be encountered not only through images, but through the body.
The research considers memory as a lived and embodied experience, something sensed through touch, movement, atmosphere, spatial relationships and emotional response. Family archives become material for re-inhabiting fragments of the past, while the installation transforms familiar domestic elements into a space where memory can be physically and affectively encountered.
The photographs here document experiments and stages in the development of the installation. They offer glimpses into the research process rather than representing the completed exhibition.
You are invited to experience the completed installation at the Honours Graduation Show.
