I believe that culture is created together. I have always found great satisfaction in supporting others, celebrating creative achievements and creating opportunities for people to connect through art, education and culture. Over the past twenty years, both in Poland and Australia, these values have guided my work alongside my own artistic practice and continue to shape the way I contribute to the communities around me.
Arts Perth WA celebrates the vibrant visual arts community of Western Australia by sharing exhibition reviews, artist features and cultural events. Through regular visits to exhibitions and conversations with artists, I aim to encourage greater public engagement with contemporary art and celebrate the achievements of local creatives.

Print in Focus is dedicated to contemporary printmaking, highlighting exhibitions, artists and printmaking practices. Created from my passion for printmaking, the platform promotes the diversity of the medium and the artists working within it while helping to build connections across the printmaking community.

I contributed to artist engagement and content development through artist interviews, educational resources, workshops and community-focused initiatives. My role centred on creating opportunities for artists to share their knowledge, creative processes and experiences while supporting an online learning community.
As Cultural Program Coordinator and later Curator and Project Lead of the Conversations exhibition series, I developed collaborative exhibitions, artist interviews, exhibition catalogues and public programs that encouraged dialogue and strengthened connections within the local arts community.
Before moving to Australia, my community work focused on education, literacy and creating opportunities for children and families to engage with culture. After settling in Australia, I continued this commitment through bilingual educational initiatives supporting Polish heritage language and cultural identity alongside my growing involvement in the visual arts community.
Through the Smok Lolo project, I created bilingual Polish–English books, educational resources, videos and online activities supporting Polish heritage language learning for children growing up outside Poland. The initiative encouraged families to maintain connections with the Polish language and culture through storytelling, creative learning and play. As the author, illustrator, designer and independent publisher of the Smok Lolo books, I combined publishing, education and community engagement to create accessible learning resources for Polish families around the world.

As founder and president of the foundation, I developed cultural and educational projects that supported children, young people and families through workshops, publications and creative initiatives.
As Startup Founder and Editor-in-Chief of MiMamo.pl, I created an educational platform bringing together publishing, creative resources and digital learning for children, parents and teachers. The project also included the development of an educational iPad application supporting children's fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination.

I created an online cultural project connecting artists, educators and audiences through interviews, educational films, publications and exhibitions, making creative knowledge more accessible to a wider audience.
I created Włącz książkę, Włącz czytanie, a national campaign promoting accessible reading through digital books and electronic devices. The initiative encouraged people who were unable to read traditional printed books—including people with visual impairments, illness, dyslexia, or other barriers—to discover reading through e-books and other digital formats. The campaign promoted inclusion by demonstrating that technology can make literature more accessible to readers of all ages and abilities.

Book Ambulance was a reading initiative promoting children's books that explored difficult emotions and important life experiences, encouraging meaningful conversations through literature.
I founded and organised Złotka - Zlot Kobiet Kultury, a series of national gatherings in Warsaw that brought together women working across culture, literature, education and children's cultural initiatives. More than a conference, Złotka created a space for collaboration, exchange of ideas and the development of new partnerships. It celebrated women's contributions to cultural life while strengthening a nationwide network of professionals committed to education, creativity and community building. The success of these gatherings led to the establishment of KaKaDu - Klub Kobiet Kultury Dziecięcej, creating an ongoing community of women working in the cultural and educational sectors.
I founded KaKaDu - Klub Kobiet Kultury Dziecięcej, a network bringing together women working across children's literature, education and cultural initiatives in Poland. The initiative encouraged collaboration, mentoring and the exchange of knowledge while supporting interdisciplinary cultural projects and strengthening relationships within the sector.
I created and coordinated Lista Przebojów Bobasa Wygibasa, one of Poland's first online community initiatives celebrating songs for babies and young children. Wygibas is a playful Polish word describing someone who dances, wiggles and moves their body freely with joy. Inspired by this idea, the project invited parents, educators, musicians and children's authors from across Poland to nominate and vote for their favourite songs to sing and move to with children. Alongside the public voting, I published interviews with educators and child development specialists, encouraging discussion about the role of music, movement and play in early childhood development and family life. The initiative combined community participation, education and culture, reflecting my early interest in creating collaborative platforms that connect people through creativity.
I collaborated with the Positive Woman Club on a fundraising initiative supporting Ukrainian children displaced by the war, contributing to a community-led response through culture, generosity and collective action.
For nearly twenty years, interviewing has been an important part of my creative and community practice. I believe that conversations preserve knowledge, reveal creative processes and build connections between people. As an editor and interviewer, I have spoken with writers, illustrators, musicians, filmmakers, actors, publishers, educators and artists, creating opportunities for them to share their ideas, experiences and creative journeys with wider audiences.
My editorial work began in 2006 with interviews focused on children's literature, education and culture for MiastoDzieci.pl, one of Poland's leading family and educational platforms. Over the following years, I conducted more than twenty-five published interviews with prominent cultural figures, including Joanna Papuzińska, Krzesimir Dębski, Andrzej Maleszka, Agnieszka Grochowska, Hanna Śleszyńska, Andrzej Chyra, Barbara Gawryluk, Agata Młynarska, Grażka Lange, Tina Oziewicz, Renata Piątkowska, Marcin Pałasz, Wojciech Widłak, Elżbieta Wasiuczyńska and many others. These conversations explored literature, visual arts, music, theatre, film, illustration, publishing and creative education.
Today, I continue this practice through Arts Perth WA, Print in Focus and the Conversations exhibition series, where I interview contemporary artists and document creative practices within Western Australia's visual arts community. Across all these projects, interviewing has remained a way of celebrating the achievements of others, sharing knowledge and strengthening cultural communities through dialogue.
